Miniature dachshund missing for 500 days in Australia found alive

After over 500 days missing on an Australian island, a miniature dachshund has been found safe and sound, wildlife rescuers said on Friday (April 25). Valerie the dachshund went missing in November 2023 when her owners took her on a camping trip to Kangaroo Island in South Australia.
