Facebook Contractor Allegedly Helped Marketing Agency Restore Banned Accounts

BuzzFeed News reported that a Facebook contractor was paid thousands of dollars to bend the rules. The contractor reportedly helped a marketing agency restore its banned Facebook accounts. According to Business Insider, San Diego-based Ads Inc. paid as much as $8,000. Ads Inc. reportedly paid Facebook users $15 to $30 per month to access their account. They then sold those accounts to other marketers for $800 each.
